Welcome to Knights of Columbus, Michael O'Connor Council 5026. This blog is provided for the convenience of our members and for Catholic men who want to learn more about our organization, membership and activities. Our Council meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at St Peter's Parish, 70 Lady's Island Dr, Beaufort SC in the Walsh Palmetto Room. This blog also contains a page for our Patriotic Assembly, Rev. Albert A. Faase - Assembly 1447, which meets on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm, same location.

Dragonboat Cancer fund raiser

The Knigths of Columbus Council 5026 put tegether one of the 29 dragon boat teams competing in the Cancer fund raiser event, with each boat having up to 20 paddlers,and a drummer.

The K oc C Dragonboat Captain was Newelly installed Grand Knight Tom Eibel. The K of C Council 5026 team raised $ 11,810. The team was awarded the top Fundraising Team.

They also won the silver metal in their divsion missing the gold by 2/10 of a second.

Special Olympics bowling tournament for the Whale Branch Elementary needy children

Knights of Columbus members in Beaufort, SC council 5026 help out with the Special Olympics bowling tournament for the Whale Branch Elementary needy children. Headed up by Past Grand Knight Gonz-Armi Gonzalez and assisted by Brothers Mark Bryant, Greg Hartley, Mike Davlantis, Steven Gearhart.

Coats for kids

Beaufort SC council # 5026 under the direction of past Faithful Navigator Jim Range distributed a total of 1006 coats this year, with the toddlers, adult women and men coats being available for the first time. They were distributed to five different charities. 24 K of C members worked on this project.

Knights of Columbus concil 5026 placed 2100 flags on the graves of the Veterans in the National Cemetary located in Beaufort,SC on Friday May 23, 2025.
